SAINT GEVEDON, alter ego of Stephen Gevedon, (Session 9, Blue in the Face, OZ, The Deuce) has taken the influences of his bluegrass Kentucky born father of country, folk and the blues and infused it with the sting and grit of the streets of NYC where Stephen grew up.
Taking traditional musical forms to minimalist extremes and juxtaposing them with evocative lyrics, his music conjures both the "Dust Bowl" era of his fathers childhood, alongside the Lou Reed infused streets of NYC where Stephen grew up.
