Cannibal Ramblers’ musical stylings are very visceral, much like the art Milloff himself creates. The songs are metaphorical, funny, but also aim to make people uncomfortable (see: “Bad Dog” by Cannibal Ramblers). When the band arrived at Big Nice Studio in Lincoln, RI, for their performance on Ocean State Sessions, Milloff asked the sound engineers for the dirtiest, worst-sounding amp they could dig up. Bad amps, crude lyrics, unrehearsed songs - this unfiltered approach is what makes Cannibal Ramblers a truly unique outfit.
